Coronavirus
During these difficult days, we are all being inundated with Coronavirus (COVID-19) information from both the media and our public officials. Public safety remains the primary concern. We ask that you responsibly follow all recommendations to help combat this current situation.
As you know, procedures and regulations seem to be changing minute-by-minute. These are certainly unprecedented times, and we need to remain up-to-date. Know that LICA is monitoring information, as it relates specifically to the heavy highway construction industry, in the downstate New York region.
In an effort to help our members and partners easily find the most relevant news, links and updates for our area, LICA has created this new web page specifically for our industry.
Each day LICA will sort through and centralize the most relevant information and add it to this site. Advisories, reports and news will be posted as soon as possible in order to help you remain current on new regulations and understand how they may affect our industry.
We encourage you to bookmark this page and check back daily for the latest updates.
Please do not hesitate to contact LICA if you have any other questions, concerns or suggestions. Most importantly, stay safe.
Sincerely,
Marc Herbst
Executive Director
Long Island Contractors' Association (LICA)
