2022BreakfastForum_Postcard_rev2.pngLICA’s inaugural Utilities Forum Breakfast will gather the principals from all major utilities across the region (Public Service Commission, LIPA, PSE&GLI, Suffolk County Water Authority, National Grid, Altice, Verizon) to have an in-depth discussion about what the Long Island construction landscape will look like during the next 5 years. The event will take place on Thursday, November 17th, 8:00-10:00 AM (registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:00 AM, program at 8:30 AM), at the RXR Theater, located at 58 South Service Road (off of Long Island Expressway Exit 48 – Round Swamp Road), Lower Level, Melville, NY 11747.
LICA represents more 160 of the region’s premier heavy construction general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry supporters. The Association focuses primarily on the infrastructure construction industry, such as highways, bridges, sewers, utilities, parks, other public works, and private site development. LICA’s member companies play a significant role in sustaining the Nassau/Suffolk region’s quality of life. The industry’s economic impact contributes more than $4 billion annually to Long Island’s gross regional product. The goal of this forum will be to educate our members about any planned projects and future developments, so that we may be better positioned to assist in constructing these infrastructure improvements in our region.
