Work to Continue on Rt 347
LICA was excited to note that a bid request for reconstruction of Route 347 was recently announced, indicating that work on this key roadway is due to resume this Spring! For the last few years, LICA has vigorously advocated on behalf of the nearly 700,000 commuters who use this road daily. We are pleased to see that our efforts have paid off for the residents of Long Island who deserve safer, well-designed roadways! LICA wants to thank Governor, NYSDOT and local elected leaders for their consistent support and help in getting this important project funded.
